The National WWII Museum invites middle and high school educators to join us for a two-part workshop focused on teaching difficult history topics from World War II.
January 11: Part 1: Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in World War II
January 25: Part 2: The Holocaust
The Holocaust Teachers will engage in content that explores the topic of the Holocaust in various ways. In partnership with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, teachers will explore curricula and guidelines for teaching the Holocaust, tour the “And Then They Came for Me” gallery in the Museum’s Liberation Pavilion, and engage in conversation with artist Erez Kaganovitz about his project, Humans of the Holocaust, which will be on display.
