Description

The National WWII Museum invites middle and high school educators to join us for a two-part workshop focused on teaching difficult history topics from World War II.

Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in World War II  Teachers will spend the day exploring the significant role of Black servicemembers and Home Front workers in the fight for “Double Victory” against fascism abroad and racism at home. In addition to touring the newly opened special exhibit Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in World War II, teachers will walk through curricula and museum resources and hear from a special guest speaker.
