Description
Students in grades 2-3 and 8-12 have the opportunity to receive instruction about affordable housing and homelessness including educational activities with LaFHAC, and a visit with a formerly unhoused guest speaker OR representative from UNITY, before selecting and participating in one of the following service actions: donation drive or multipurpose cleaning products. The items will then be donated to UNITY.
STEM Library Lab
STEM Library Lab fosters high-quality active learning by providing teachers and students with access to equipment and support to drive student success. We envision students in every classroom gaining exposure to quality educational experiences that prepare them for a 21st Century future. We run a variety of programs and services geared to ensure teachers have the tools they need to lead productive classrooms.
