About the Youth Programs Directory
The New Orleans Youth Programs Directory is made possible through the partnership between the New Orleans Youth Alliance (NOYA), the New Orleans Children and Youth Planning Board (CYPB), the Mayor’s Office of Youth and Families (OYF), and STEM Library Lab. In alignment with the New Orleans Youth Master Plan, equitable access to resources and opportunities ensures that all youth develop to their fullest potential. This directory is constantly updated by participating partners. Outreach for partnerships includes participation in community meetings, social media and newsletter announcements and direct referrals. All information is subject to change. All youth and family serving organizations are invited to create a profile, subject to approval by the site administrator. The Office of Youth and Families
The Office of Youth and Families works to improve child well-being by increasing coordination between agencies, expanding resources, ensuring equitable policymaking, engaging youth and community input.
New Orleans Youth Alliance
Guided by our community, and grounded in racial equity, intersectional equity and youth leadership, New Orleans Youth Alliance fosters youth-centered policies and cultivates a system of high-quality, well-resourced youth development organizations with the intent to drive the transformation of systems to better serve youth.
Children and Youth Planning Board
We encourage collaborative efforts among local stakeholders for assessing the physical, social, emotional, developmental, behavioral, educational, safety, and poverty impacts and needs of children, youth, and families in their communities. We assist in the development of comprehensive plans to address the needs of children, youth, and families in their communities.
STEM Library Lab
STEM Library Lab fosters high-quality active learning by providing teachers with access to equipment, programs, experiences and STEM instructional support to drive student success.
